Experience during the 2019 ADSE program
During the 2019 ADSE program, I gained a lot of valuable experiences that I never had before. The first time I read about this program, I felt very interested because this program brought a topic about the issues being faced and became a focus for the countries of the world, especially the United Nations. In addition, my team also learned in using software that we have never used before, SAP Analytics Cloud, so we got new knowledge about data analysis with the SAP software. Stephanie and I began our collaboration through the creation of a storyboard for the elimination stage. Then, we had the opportunity to present our storyboard in front of the judges. In the end, we never thought that we could become Indonesia’s national winner. For us, this program was not only limited to the competition but also was a learning process because we got a lot of knowledge especially when we got so many insights from the judges during the presentation. In preparation for the ADSE regional’s final, we also got a number of mentoring from SAP Indonesia and received many new insights and knowledge. The regional finals held in Bangkok, Thailand was the highlight of our experience where we met many amazing people from various countries in Southeast Asia and had the opportunity to discuss with each other about the issues and conditions of each country.
Current activities and how is the data analytic skills from ADSE support me
Currently, I work at one of the technology companies in Indonesia. My job is very closely related to data. I must be able to read various data and analyze those data to provide insights into the future plan. The data analytic skills that I got from the ADSE program certainly enhance my ability to do my job, especially since I have an educational background that is not from mathematics or computer science.”
